Why am I on the waitlist?

When you initially register for an event, you will be put on the waitlist.
Everyone remains on the waitlist while registration is open.

The day after the registration period ends, the top-ranked athletes from each division will be invited to the competition. Roughly three days after invites go out, anyone who didn't decline their invite will be confirmed to compete. Any remaining spots will be re-distributed.

If you are still on the waitlist after this three-day period, you do not have a high enough seed rank to attend that specific event. However, it is possible that someone will drop out early and be replaced by the next athlete on the waitlist.

If you are an unranked rider, you are awarded registration priority based on the order in which you registered for the event. For this reason, it is wise for unranked riders to register as soon as the  registration period begins.
