The 2018 stops for the Freeride World Tour have been announced! Spanning 3 continents with 2 new stops, we anticipate an incredible winter of Freeride skiing and snowboarding.
The IFSA, in partnership with the Freeride World Tour and our wonderful resort partners, is excited to unveil the 2018 event schedule. We’re hoping for a winter as fierce as 2017 and encourage all our athletes to begin their snow dances now!
FWQ 2* competition in South America adds bonus “finals day” and increased prize purse for the event at Chapelco Ski Resort.
Marginal snow conditions combined with an unfavorable weather report forces cancellation and relocation of first FWQ event of the season in the Andes. Rescheduled competition to take place at Antillanca, August 16-20, 2017.
IFSA, in partnership with the Freeride World Tour, presents a full series of Freeride World Qualifying events for athletes to compete in the Andes Mountains. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin collecting points for the 2018 season at the FWQ 2* level.
