The Junior Freeride World Championship hits the Tyrolean Alps for the very first time March 21-23, 2018 with a stacked roster of top young riders from across the globe.

Winter’s abundance has provided exceptional conditions for the 6th edition of the globe’s top junior freeride competition. Sixty-two riders have been offered invitations to the prestigious event based on their Freeride Junior Tour rankings. This unique event offers a glimpse of the future of the sport of freeride and the highly-anticipated dates are guaranteed to deliver a show for competitors, parents, coaches, and fans alike.

The top ski men from Region 2 to watch include Jon Clay Patterson (USA) out of Crested Butte, snowboarder Holden Samuels (USA), last year’s FJWC Female Snowboard Champion, Heidi Farmer (CAN) and ski women frontrunner, Olivia McNeill from Whistler.

These promising young riders will be accompanied by their inspirational coaches and previous/current Freeride World Tour competitors Rachel Croft, Berkeley Patterson, Grifen Moller, and Craig Murray. It will be an incredible melding of talented Freeriders and we wish all riders the best of luck and big lines.
