Congrats to Our 2019 Region 2 FWT Riders!
Huge props to our Region 2 Freeride World Tour qualifying athletes. The 2018-2019 season will certainly be a Freeride family affair...
The tension in the air at our final back-to-back IFSA FWQ 4* events at Kirkwood Mountain was palpable this March. Freeride victoriously returned to the storied steeps of Kirkwood on the legendary and permanently closed terrain of The Cirque. For a full event recap, CLICK HERE. Says Head Judge, Brant Moles:
"The Kirkwood IFSA FWQ 4* this year was amazing. It was the first adult comp on The Cirque in years. The field of riders was stacked, it was anyone's day to take the win. The skiing and riding did not disappoint! It was an awesome spectacle and I was stoked to be a part of such an amazing event. Thanks to Kirkwood, TJFS, all the volunteers, and athletes for a great event."

"This year my journey on the FWQ was amazing. I love going to these competitions and getting to reunite with all of my ski friends. Never could I have imagined that I would be going on the tour next season with my brother Andrew. I am looking forward to this experience, getting to meet new people and skiing new places." - Jacqueline Pollard
“Very excited to make the tour. Stoked for all the adventures to come. I can’t wait to meet the crew and hopefully ski some pow.” - Andrew Pollard

"I'm stoked to get another shot at the Freeride World tour because I felt unfinished the year I missed the cut. My season was based off a trip to Russia with my friends, doing a few contests and riding my home mountain as much as I could. My journey to the FWT was cool to see a few new places and to meet the people of the FWQ." - Christopher Galvin

Tom Peiffer - FWT Male SKI
"We've known Tom and Liam since they were 12 years old. Ever since they were juniors, the FWT has been their lofty goal, and to see them both make it in the same year is just incredible. The whole Whistler Freeride Club is so excited to see the boys mix it up with the best Freeriders in the world next year." - Whistler Freeride Club Head Coach, Derek Foose
"It's been a long road to the FWT, I've been competing for about 8 years. Ever since I started I wanted to make it to the tour so it definitely means a lot to me to get the opportunity to compete against the riders you look up to. Coming into the season I had no idea that it would have been so successful, it's always so fun getting to compete against your best friends and share so many experiences. I'm definitely nervous for next but mostly excited." - Tom Peiffer
